Madalyn finishes 8th grade

Last night Madalyn was promoted from 8th grade to 9th! Yes, I said promoted. They no longer call it "graduate". We all went to the high school to see Madalyn walk across the gym to get her promotion certificate. She was very excited and looks forward to high school. Way to go Madalyn!!

Carter had his last soccer game so he wasn't able to make it. The kids did a good job for having to sit so long. 

Madalyn was blessed to have her dad speak to their 2012 class and then receive her certificate from him also.

Bailey's 8th BIRTHDAY

Yes, our dear Bailey is 8. She let me know that waffles would be the order of the day when she woke up. We had a little friend party that night and she had a wonderful time. Where does the time go? We love you Bailey!

We played a game involving a paper bag that had a timer in it. They passed it around the circle until the buzzer went off and then that person would be out of the game if they were holding the bag. The girls really enjoyed it.

The candy bar game was very fun. Matt cut of 10 different candy bars onto plates into little pieces. Each girl had a piece of paper number 1 through 10. They each had to take a piece from each plate and guess what the candy bar was. One girl got 9 answers correct.

After that game, we played the traditional "candy game" and then any girl that wanted her nails painted we did. Mom, Madalyn, Taylor and Hannah all helped me paint nails.

Paige graduates

This was a big week in Paige's short life. She graduated from preschool. They had a little ceremony at the end of the day that made her and all the other classmates feel pretty special. She went 2 days a week for 2 hours. She loved her head teacher Miss Elizabeth. Way to go Paigey, you are wonderful!

We spent Memorial Day weekend, camping with family. The kids love love love this special weekend. Even though we had a little rain that didn't stop the fun they had.

Madalyn had her 8th grade banquette last week.

After she got all dressed up, I drove her over to her friends house to get some group pictures and then head to the dance. She looked beautiful and had a great time.
