California Wedding!

This last weekend, Matt, the kids and I made a quick trip to California for his cousin Cyndi's wedding. We left on Wednesday evening and stayed at my brothers house in Central Point. We woke up early in the next morning and headed down to Sacramento to have a big wedding celebration with family from all over the U.S.. We had a wonderful time with everybody. Everyone in Matt's family was there except for our brother-in-law Aaron. We missed you! After the party we headed home. Our car had some troubles and so we didn't get home until 1am in the morning. Boy are we tired. Enjoy the many pictures!

We stopped in Roseburg on our way to Central Point to meet our new nephew. Ashlee had him over a week ago and so now Gannon has a buddy to play with. They are 2 months apart. His name is William Thomas. He is a calm baby!

Grandma seeing Gannon after 2 weeks of not seeing him.

My oldest brother Dan holding Gannon on Thursday morning.

On our way to Sacramento we stopped in Redding California to eat at In-N-Out Burger. Oh yeah! Matt loves it sooooo much. He wanted a picture with Gannon and the sign in the background.

Our cute nephew Alex was there at the hotel with us and he met Gannon for the first time and did a very good job holding him.

On Saturday we all went to the beautiful temple in Sacramento. Before Cyndi and Renato came out a temple worker held up this sign. We were all a little loud.

Doesn't she look beautiful. She is so happy and we are happy for her.

Madalyn goes to Girls Camp.

It is hard to believe that our oldest is off to girls camp. It feels like yesterday when I went to camp. I loved girls camp so much. I have been praying everyday that Madalyn is having a wonderful time and that she is building strong friendships. She was so excited about going. She took all of her stuff to her young women presidents house 2 nights before and anxiously awaited for the day to arrive to leave. We have really missed her a lot and look forward to have her home and tell us all about her week.

This is Madalyn eating her breakfast of champions before she leaves for camp. Matt asked her if she wanted a special breakfast and she said no I just want Honeycombs. Well, that is easy.

In the van getting ready to head to her first year of girls camp with her friend Cameron.

RETURNING HOME!!!!!!!!!

As Matt drove into the parking lot with all the kids except Gannon and myself, he was surprised to see Madalyn running towards the SUV. This pose is the best shot as she stops the car and started hugging everyone. We are not sure what camp did to Madalyn but we like it!

Paige was so happy to see Madalyn and Madalyn was sure happy to smell someone fresh and clean like Paige!

Though this picture might not show how excited the boys were they had a blast as Madalyn showed them some self defense moves that they taught her at girls camp. Even the boys were impressed. I am sure these will come in handy at home.

Bailey was thrilled to see her older and wiser sister. Sisters gotta hug! Can you feel the LOVE.

I could not have asked for a better oldest daughter. I had been praying day in and day out that Madalyn would have a great experience at camp and wow did she ever. You could hear it in her voice and feel it when she spoke about her experiences. Now if we could just hold on to this Madalyn for a couple of more weeks. Matt thought it was nice to have our in-house babysitter back from vacation.

The fruits of Madalyn's work all week the young womans camp necklace!!!!!!

Megan's baby shower!

My sister is having her 3rd baby the beginning of November so I decided that I wanted to do a baby shower for her. She is also moving away and I thought her friends would enjoy having a party with her. We all met at a restaurant by her house and sat for 2 hours laughing, talking and of course eating!! She looks fantastic. Many people keep telling her how big she is and I disagree. Some people just don't think when they are talking to pregnant woman. I hope that she thoroughly enjoyed herself. Love you Meg!

Megan and our Mom.

Meg, Mom and me waiting for everyone to arrive.

Meg and I.

She wore this hilarious sign that says, "I know I'm HUGE BUT I'm NOT having twins and I'm not due until Nov. 3rd." Too many people have made comments to her so she wanted to wear this sign as a joke to keep them all quiet.

Doesn't she look great!

The whole group together eating.

Meg opening her gift from Christine. Adorable burp cloths.

One of her gifts from a friend.

My mom drew the dress that she made for Meg's baby girls blessing. Then she cut pieces of fabric and wrote a poem. It was a very thoughtful gift.

Gannon, Me, Meg, Carda, and Mom.

When we got to Meg's house, McKenna wanted to hold baby Gannon. She did a very good job with him.

Hunter was awesome with Gannon also. I think that they are ready for their own little sister to arrive.
