Disneyland 2012

Matt and I looked around our house in October and realized that our children had everything a child would ever want. We talked to each other about Christmas and what we would buy them and decided that we would ask them if they wanted to have a Christmas with 3 gifts and a stocking or go to Disneyland with Grandma and Grandpa at Thanksgiving time. So, during family home evening, Matt played a game with the kids and had them guess what we would be talking about as a family that night. All of the sudden they realized it was DISNEYLAND. We told them of their choice and Madalyn and Carter took all of the kids to our room and had a vote. When they came out of the room, they had all decided except for Hayden. He was crying and said that he was worried and didn't want to go to Disneyland. Bailey then began to cry and said she wouldn't go if Hayden didn't. Hayden then said, "will Katelyn (his cousin) go?" That gave me a thought and I decided to invite anyone in Matt's family to join us on our trip to Disneyland. Happily Aunt Jill, Aunt Tricia, Uncle Darren, Uncle Rich, Aunt Julie and all of the kids were able to make it. The kids were so happy!!  We left for California on the 16th of November and traveled to Eugene. We then drove all Saturday to get to Sacramento to be at Rich and Julie's. The trip was so much fun!

We returned home after a week of fun in the beautiful California weather. Paige was crying yesterday because she wanted to go back to Disneyland with Grandma. These were memories that non of us will ever forget.
Merry Christmas to our wonderful children.

Tuesday evening we went on the Jungle ride and it was very funny. Our guide was pretty hilarious.

Paige really wanted to go back to the carousel's. I didn't know that she really wanted to ride a certain horse so I didn't make a dash for it. She started to tell me how upset she was and how she had wanted this certain horse. After the ride ended, I took her to the horse with a new little girl on it. Her heart was broken.
I felt so bad.

Get out there and VOTE

What an amazing time in our country! Get out there and vote. We have the opportunity to have our voice be heard. Matt and I voted and mailed in our ballots today.
We celebrated Halloween walking all around our little town collecting lots of candy for Matt and I ( I mean the kids). The kids had a blast and so did we. We love HALLOWEEN!

We mailed in our votes!

I took the 2 youngest ones to Matt's school to say hi to Matt.

Fall ACTIVITIES

We have enjoyed a wet Fall!! The kids have done some different activities this Fall. They have played soccer, done cheerleading, participated in church activities, helped decorate, carved pumpkins and played with their toys. We are so excited for the upcoming holidays.

The boys made guns out of their legos.

Madalyn was a cheerleader for her high school.

Paige, Bailey, Hayden and Carter all played soccer this fall. They had a lot of fun!

Gina came from Utah for 5 days. We made a fun dinner with the help of the kids. We grossed out some of the kids with our ghostly treats!

Madalyn's Homecoming

Madalyn went to Homecoming with a few of her friends this weekend. They had a great time. The theme was Rock n Roll. She wanted an animal print dress. She came up with this outfit and looked very pretty. Hard to believe she went to Homecoming. Where has the time gone?

Madalyn with her two friends.

I remembering going to Homecoming with my friends as a freshman and it was like yesterday.

One of her friends had a special dinner at her house before the dance. The parents graciously bought Olive Garden for all of the kids and decorated their garage. It was very nice.

Friends!

Duck GAME

Matt, Rich, Jeff and I went to a Duck game this last weekend. Matt and Rich love the Ducks and they have their annual game that they go to. The memo got out to all fans that we needed to wear yellow.  We are a bright group. Ashlee drove us over to Autzen and dropped us off. Fun times!

Matt was trying to pick me up right here and I didn't want him to.

So, we settled for a big hug.

Our friends met up with us at the game.
You can tell that I really enjoy the game!
No, I love sports Matt just happen to get me yawning!!!
