We had a family party last night at our house. Grandma and Grandpa Morrison came up to go to the Portland Temple and stayed the night. Matt, Carda, Sean and Melissa all came with their families. We had a delicious dinner and then we painted ornaments and frosted sugar cookies. I love the feelings that come during Christmas time.

Matt organized the ornaments on the table and the kids decorated the tree. We had only 1 ornament break. That is pretty good for us!

Christmas tree hunting

We went and got our tree! $20 for a Noble. The man is so kind that owns the tree farm. We always give him a generous tip for letting us come on a weekday earlier than usual.

Our 16 year old

Madalyn's official birthday was yesterday. Gannon and I picked her up for lunch. She wanted Subway. When Matt got home from work, we all went to Bajios for dinner. Then, she wanted to do a little shopping so Matt dropped us off at Clackamas Towne Center and she bought some cute things. By the time we got home it was 9:20 at night but we still made room for cake and ice cream.
