We spent this last week with family. We traveled to my parents first. 2 of my brothers and their families also came and we had a great time. We had a Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday and celebrated Christine's birthday. We played soccer and football with the kids. Of course, we played Ticket to Ride and Pinnocle.
After we left my parents, we went to Eugene to be with Grandma and Grandpa Newell. Ashlee and Jeff were there also. We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner and shopping. Life is so wonderful because of family.
On Saturday, we hurried home to have a surprise birthday party for Madalyn. I asked some young women in our ward to help me get everything ready. They did an awesome job. Almost 50 people came. It is hard to believe that she is 16 years old.
