General Conference in Salt Lake City Utah

We really wanted the kids to go to General Conference with Matt and I before Madalyn leaves our home. We decided last Spring that we would take them to the October conference. We left at 4:30 am on Friday morning and drove all day. I made lunches in the car and we only stopped to go potty. We arrived in Utah at 5pm. We stayed with Gina. They had prepared an amazing BBQ for us the first night. On Saturday, we woke up early and left to Salt Lake. The 4 older kids were the only ones able to go. Gina watched the 2 little ones. We arrived early enough to take pictures and look around. The session started at 10am. Madalyn thought that she was listening to the radio because the Mormon Tabernacle choir sounded so amazing. Bailey said that she could feel the spirit and didn't want to fall asleep to miss anything. It was amazing. Afterwards we met up with Jill and went out to lunch. Matt and the boys headed back to watch the priesthood session and do some things that he had wanted to take the kids too. I returned to Gina's and had a wonderful evening. We left Utah at 7am on Sunday morning to return home. We got home at 5:15 pm Oregon time. What a fantastic weekend! We loved every minute.
